After many months of research, I present the final document of the dissertation that I am submitting to the PhD committee at my University. The full text can be downloaded here. Unfortunately, it is in Spanish, and with only a small abstract in English, but The Seasteading Institute is planning to have it translated into English.
The winter holidays are coming up, and then the Reason Cruise is right around the corner! This exciting one-week Carribean cruise features thought-provoking speakers, influential journalists, and an all-star cast of thinkers and freedom fighters from around the world.
The cruise market together with flotel market represents the “natural” market where accommodation in vessels is offered to potential clients. While a flotel vessel is located for long periods of time in a fixed position (at harbor or in the middle of the ocean), a cruise vessel is normally sailing from one port to another daily. Therefore, cruise market seems not to be the perfect marine structure for the establishment of autonomous ocean communities.
