Over the past 3 months, someone has googled for seasteading every 7 minutes, on average. (And then clicked through to www.seasteading.org). That’s pretty good public awareness!
Also, thanks to dozens of signups at Maker Faire last weekend, we have broken 1000 subscribers to our mailing list! This was a goal for the end of the year, so we are quite happy about it. Over the 7 months it has been active, this represents 5 signups a day. At this point it will only take us 6 years to get 10,000 subscribers :). For comparison, the Free State Project newsletter had 13,508 subscribers as of May 2009, which is a similar rate of accumulation.
