Registration is open, with some great speakers, including Peter Thiel (PayPal founder and philanthropist), Paul Romer (Stanford professor behind charter cities), David Friedman (Santa Clara professor and well-known political theorist), Erwin Strauss (author of “How To Start Your Own Country”), Sean Hastings (founder & CEO of HavenCo on SeaLand) and others. The Seasteading Institute Announces its Second Annual Conference
August 10, 2009 — The Seasteading Institute is excited to announce that registration is open for the second annual Seasteading Conference, to be held September 28-30, 2009 in San Francisco, California.

Ephemerisle is a floating festival of politics, community, and art in celebration of political freedom and diversity.

TSI needs your help. We have some great ideas about how to advance the vision of seasteading, but our financial resources are limited. We can’t depend on our single major donor forever, so we need to pull together as a community to independently fund important initiatives.
