A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is an investment account specifically designed to promote charitable giving while offering tax incentives. Donors contribute funds to the account, which are then invested. The generated returns from these investments are subsequently distributed to designated nonprofit recipients. It is also called a charitable giving fund.
Donate DAFs to The Seasteading Institute
We are developing the process for aquapreneurs to make seasteads safe and legal. We can help builders by navigating legal red tape and providing a clear process for living legally at sea, since seasteads are a new kind of vessel requiring a new legal category for flagging registries. Creating this new legal framework for seasteads to gain approval from flagging registries is a vital new role for us. To make this innovative vision a reality, we need the best technical expertise, which does require financial resources. With the help of your generous contribution, we can hire talented naval architects and other professionals to ensure our designs are safe and secure. Our goal is to raise $50,000 before the end of 2023. Your support allows us to take this important step forward in creating new floating communities on the ocean.
