Business Member Atlas Island wants you to live on the water ASAP

Atlas Island is not a company, it’s a philosophy. Founded four years ago, the international online community has stayed focused on anarcho-capitalist principles while allowing for flexibility in how members want to live up to those principles in the real world.

Mason, the founder of Atlas Island, wants to build a floating community on the ocean as fast as possible. For him, that means not waiting for a new kind of platform design for ocean living. Mason started Atlas Island for the seasteaders who are ready to move to the ocean now. Atlas Island has a five-stage plan for moving from an online community to real-world neighborhood as soon as possible.

“Nowhere in the world do you agree 100% with your neighbors, but in online communities, a lot of time and effort is spent finding agreement and disagreement. Moving into a physical community, the minor disagreements don’t matter.” — Mason
