Joe Quirk, President of The Seasteading Institute, was sponsored to give a keynote at the Curious Future Conference in Mainz, Germany, birthplace of the printing press. He believes that seasteads will decentralize governance the same way the printing press decentralized knowledge.
Seven Nobel Laureates also spoke.
Audience members’ mouths fell open when the seastead was revealed.
His presentation starts with the eco-restorative technologies and reveals the governance solutions in the grand finale. The moderator said that Joe received by far the most questions of any speaker.
Joe never imagined Seasteading would be sponsored in such a mainstream venue. A whole lot of luminaries who support the EU and the World Economic Forum listened very carefully to what he said.
