Many people think of the tsunami as the most fearsome wave,
but that's a landlubber's perspective. Generally driven by
earthquakes, tsunamis are often unnoticeable in the deep ocean,
where they have extremely long wavelengths and low wave heights
(several meters at most, usually much less).

LOL, just read that tsunamis are over rated and often exaggerated by folklore. Hmm You might want to rewrite that in light of the 2004 Asian Tsunamis which have killed 150,000+ No rogue wave in open water even did as much damage.

We specifically said "While this is very dangerous for coastal structures". We only claimed they were harmless in the ocean. Which they are - a friend of a friend was sailing during the 2004 tsunami, and was totally unharmed.
So we said nothing wrong. It might be good to mention the tsunami, though.
